PINEOLA — In the summer of 2023, the Mountain Boomer opened its doors to the public in Pineola. Along with its opening, the Mountain Boomer has offered live music and entertainment on a frequent basis.
Nestled on 1600 Jonas Ridge Hwy., The Mountain Boomer has become a haven for those seeking a perfect blend of great food, diverse beverages and live music. This hidden gem, with its inviting ambiance and multiple smoked food offerings, has quickly become a community favorite.
New for 2024, The Mountain Boomer transforms into a musical haven every Monday with Boomer Jam, hosted by the charismatic Jesse Smith. The jams start at 5:30 p.m. and the stage welcomes solo performers and those eager to join the jam in playing everything from bluegrass to classic rock.
But the great music doesn’t end there. Also new for 2024, hosted by BD Frank, The Mountain Boomer now offers Open Mic nights on the second and fourth Friday of each month. Open Mic Night offers a venue and opportunity for musicians, poets and performers of all kinds. With top-notch sound equipment, stage monitors, microphones and even sanitary microphone covers, it is a place where creativity knows no boundaries.
From its pulled pork and succulent smoked salmon to its chicken wings, chicken quarters, smoked chicken chili and smoked mushroom chili, The Mountain Boomer menu is a celebration of smoked culinary specialties. The Apple Bacon Slaw Challenge adds an exciting twist, featuring a slaw made with up to five different apple varieties. The Mountain Boomer’s hours are from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday.
